An energy project begins with close collaboration with local landowners. As a landowner, you play a key role in the project, and we are committed to an open, fair and transparent process from our first conversation through to completion.
An agreement with St. Jørgen provides a stable, long-term income by leasing your land – typically for up to 30 years. We guarantee the payments and that the land will be reinstated once the agreement ends.
Landowners receive stable, fixed monthly payments throughout the lease term, with guaranteed provisions for re-establishment when the lease ends.
In some cases, we may purchase portions of your land—either at your request or if required by authorities.
Landowners have the opportunity to co-invest in the project on the same terms as St. Jørgen, sharing in its success.
We prioritize open dialogue with neighbors and the local community during the project planning phase. Our goal is to find solutions that align with local needs, creating value and strengthening communities.
For neighbors who wish to relocate, we offer voluntary property purchase agreements. For those who prefer to stay, we provide voluntary compensation agreements to address any inconveniences caused by the project.

Landscape architects collaborate with engineers to design power plants that minimize disruption and preserve the character of the surrounding area. Vegetation belts are established around power plants to maintain natural aesthetics and enhance biodiversity.
